A judge in Louisiana has temporarily blocked the state's 'trigger' ban on abortion after one of the state's three abortion clinics challenged the law in court, according to a court order.

Hope Medical Group for Women — a clinic in Shreveport — had argued the ban was vague and lacked "constitutionally required safeguards to prevent arbitrary enforcement," according to Reuters

The state's ban was triggered by the Supreme Court's ruling against abortion rights last week.
